TagMaster North America supports HID Corporate 1000 Program

Tacoma, Washington | November 2, 2009 - TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI)announced today its support for HID Global’s popular Corporate 1000 Program.

As the trusted source for solutions for the delivery of secure identity, HID Global established the Corporate 1000 program to provide access control users with a unique 35-bit card data format developed and maintained specifically for each individual end-user organization. Customers aiming to standardize on a single card solution within their organization can now authorize TagMaster to purchase Corporate 1000 cards on their behalf from HID Global. The benefits of this program to TagMaster customers include enhanced card security, compatibility with standard HID access control readers, and assured availability of the unique card format over the long term.

The flexibility and ease of use of a dual short-range / long-range access card, while still compliant with the Corporate 1000 Program, is now attainable through TagMaster’s S1260 Combi Tag, a unique read-only, compact, semi-passive tag that combines long-range 2.45 GHz technology with HID proximity, eProx and iCLASS®.

Additionally, a newly designed TagMaster MarkTag MeM duo that supports the Corporate 1000 program, is also available. A dual access tag that operates with improved signal sensitivity and extended read range capabilities, mounts anywhere on the dashboard line-of-sight permitting and comes with a new rugged and ergonomically-friendly design, the MarkTag MeM duo is by far the most compact tag in the TagMaster family of tags.

To participate in the Corporate 1000 Program, end-users need to complete an HID Global Format Request and Authorization Form (designating TagMaster NA as their authorized reseller). Upon processing by HID, a unique Corporate 1000 Format number and facility code is established for the end-user, which TagMaster NA programs into the S1260 CombiTag and MarkTag MeM duo.

TagMaster North America unveils ProgramMe! Anytime

Tacoma, Washington | October 13, 2009 - TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) announced today that it unveiled ProgramMe! Anytime at the annual National Parking Association October 12 -15 trade show in National Harbor, MD.

Valued TagMaster NA system integrators and partners as well as end-customer parking administrators will now be able to program, monitor, test and diagnose TagMaster readers – virtually - unhindered by physical distance limitations imposed by traditional interfaces such as RS-232 and RS-485. Gone are the messy and costly physical cabling that connect the readers to the host computer. Gone is the requirement to be present at the physical parking infrastructure site to set-up readers, test and monitor them. Gone are the inordinate efforts expended to get to the physical site.

ProgramMe! Anytime allows wireless connection of TagMaster reader devices via TCP/IP protocols to the host computer and enables IP-addressability. A major leap that facilitates ease of TagMaster RFID AVI implementation and management while delivering time and cost savings.

Happy Doctors at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi

Press Release

Tacoma, Washington- August 25, 2009 - TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) announced today that Baptist Medical Center has deployed the TagMaster system to manage entry to restricted parking lots for its doctors. The Baptist Medical Center (BMC), located in Jackson, Mississippi, has been serving the local community for over a century with its unique brand of comprehensive and compassionate health care services.

Deceptively simple, the clickers used by doctors for decades presented a host of thorny problems: parking operations could not be effectively and efficiently managed with a manual device, there was no ability to track, monitor, control and manage parking usage, and mitigate infractions as needed; traffic flow and parking availability was not optimal particularly in peak conditions; security was breached, since anyone with a clicker operating in the same frequency could gain entry to the parking facilities; moreover, the clicker could easily be distributed to friends, family and fellow staff.

During a quick 6-week implementation that was completed in November 2008, Security Support Services, a prominent Jackson-based provider of full-range security support and investigation services, installed a total of 7 TagMaster readers – a combination of LR-6 and LR-6 XL readers to accommodate unique extended long-range requirements – in tandem with a market-leading access control system and gates. A total of 700 S1255 MarkTags have been distributed to doctors during the gradual roll-out.

With the implementation of TagMaster readers and tags, BMC Security Group is now able to effectively and efficiently track, monitor, and manage parking usage. Additionally, security is dramatically tightened, as only vehicles with valid TagMaster ID-tags are able to gain access to the reserved section of the two parking lots. Due to the speed of entry and exit facilitated by the TagMaster RFID AVI solution, traffic flow is smoother; doctors experience improved convenience and are able to report to duty much more quickly with considerably less stress than before. Doctors are happy. BMC Security is happy. It’s a happy ending at Baptist Medical Center!

TagMaster North America’s AVI products play critical role in Molasky Corporate Center’s Parking Project

Tacoma, WA – February 18, 2009. TagMaster North America, an international marketer of advanced RFID equipment and technology, speaks of its major role in the Molasky Corporate Center’s LEED compliant Parking Garage.

The Molasky Corporate Center is the largest privately owned environmentally friendly building in Las Vegas, Nevada, striving for Gold certification by the United States Green Buildings Council (USGBC). The Molasky Corporate Center is committed to the environment by using its 150 photovoltaic panels atop its roof to generate a portion of the building’s electricity, implementing recycling programs, minimizing water use and much more. Recently, the Molasky Corporate Center has upgraded its parking to be environmentally efficient. The project included the use of TagMaster’s Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) systems and SKIDATA’s PARCS.

Sentry Control Systems installed the LEED-compatible parking system for the six-level, 1,450-space parking garage with TagMaster Readers to help reduce total carbon emissions. The integrated TagMaster Readers minimize queuing time for tenants; shorter queues mean fewer emissions and extremely pleased regular garage users. This happens with a small ID-tag placed inside the windshield of a monthly garage user’s vehicle that automatically begins sharing information with the parking garage computer as the car approaches the gate. Authorization is verified and entry is automatic. No stopping, no ticket and no waiting, the system provides an added level of personal security and efficiency.

TagMaster North America is definitely proven as a leader in the completion of effective AVI projects with high quality products for vehicle access projects of any size. As noted by Tim Flanagan of Sentry Control Systems, “We take pride in delivering parking solutions that help reduce total carbon emissions. Our equipment is made of durable, abuse-resistant materials that help reduce maintenance calls and costs. Systems can be configured as paperless operations and provide remote monitoring and control”.

Sentry Control Systems is a parking, revenue control, and access control systems integrator. We at Sentry provide solutions, which respond to the wants, needs, and values of our customers. These solutions are supported by our world-class commitment to provide a premium level of measurable quality service.
