ACTS Allows for Bus and Pedestrian Access to Logan Bus Depot



TagMaster NA’s embedded software system authorizes personal access using proximity cards in addition to vehicle access using long-range RFID tags.



TACOMA, Wa. | April 17, 2013 — TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI), was installed by Scheidt & Bachmann at the Logan International Airport Green Bus Depot.

ACTS (Access Control Tracking System) Essential, powered by ArmID, is reader embedded access control software that can control up to two long-range TagMaster readers: a Main reader and a Sub reader. Each tag read is an event that is verified against the database, time stamped, and logged. The web interface is where the database is updated and maintained, reports are downloaded, and gates can be opened remotely with the touch of a button.
