Tacoma, Washington | Jan. 21, 2010 - TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI)announced that its system has been in successful operation for close to 2 years at a leading real estate firm with over 6 decades of experience managing multipurpose, office, R&D and industrial properties in Southern California. Through integration of a seamless AVI system using TagMaster LR-6 Readers and CombiTags, SAS Access Systems, a San Diego-based systems integrator of parking control and building access systems, stepped up to the challenge of a streamlined approach that provides easy parking and building access using one card while maintaining compatibility with the existing Lenel and HID infrastructure as well as improving parking controls and manageability.
Prior to installation, only building access was controlled. There were no controls in existence for parking access at the firm’s San Diego, Ca. parking facility. With no gates, anyone could drive in and park. With no controls in place, tenants and their customers freely parked in non-designated areas and exceeded their allocated
spaces, leading to operational mayhem. One other consequence: other tenants and their customers could not find the parking spaces they were expecting.
A total of 10 LR-6 PassMan Readers and 4,000 CombiTags - in tandem with Magnetic Automation gates – comprised the system installed. After gaining convenient, quick, and reliable hands-free garage parking access through the TagMaster CombiTag, tenants use the same card to enter the building by presenting it at designated
proximity readers.
Parking facility control and management has been substantially improved, which is expected to generate higher rates in both tenant retention and new tenancy due to enhanced benefits in parking availability and convenience.
With the use of only one card, high-profile tenants and their customers continue to experience higher levels of convenient hassle-free parking and building access.

Tacoma, Washington | November 2, 2009 - TagMaster North America, Inc., the leading provider of long-range and high-performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems for Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI)announced today its support for HID Global’s popular Corporate 1000 Program.
As the trusted source for solutions for the delivery of secure identity, HID Global established the Corporate 1000 program to provide access control users with a unique 35-bit card data format developed and maintained specifically for each individual end-user organization. Customers aiming to standardize on a single card solution within their organization can now authorize TagMaster to purchase Corporate 1000 cards on their behalf from HID Global. The benefits of this program to TagMaster customers include enhanced card security, compatibility with standard HID access control readers, and assured availability of the unique card format over the long term.
The flexibility and ease of use of a dual short-range / long-range access card, while still compliant with the Corporate 1000 Program, is now attainable through TagMaster’s S1260 Combi Tag, a unique read-only, compact, semi-passive tag that combines long-range 2.45 GHz technology with HID proximity, eProx and iCLASS®.
Additionally, a newly designed TagMaster MarkTag MeM duo that supports the Corporate 1000 program, is also available. A dual access tag that operates with improved signal sensitivity and extended read range capabilities, mounts anywhere on the dashboard line-of-sight permitting and comes with a new rugged and ergonomically-friendly design, the MarkTag MeM duo is by far the most compact tag in the TagMaster family of tags.
To participate in the Corporate 1000 Program, end-users need to complete an HID Global Format Request and Authorization Form (designating TagMaster NA as their authorized reseller). Upon processing by HID, a unique Corporate 1000 Format number and facility code is established for the end-user, which TagMaster NA programs into the S1260 CombiTag and MarkTag MeM duo.
